Our test model was the SE Ultimate with all-wheel-drive and to say it was impressive would be a serious understatement. Our Horsepower for an Hour team arrived at Win Hyundai in El Monte, California to get our first look at the all-new Santa Fe and from the moment we arrived, it was clear the crew at Win Hyundai is both professional and product knowledgeable. Once we were buckled in, we headed out on the Southern California highways to get an up-close, personal experience with the all-new Santa Fe and we were certainly not disappointed. All afternoon, we put the vehicle through a number of real world type situations and every time, it
responded impeccably. Acceleration, braking, cornering, and handling characteristics are superb, as is the comfort of the interior. One added bonus was the quiet ride we experienced even at highway speeds, exterior road noise is surprisingly non-existent. We test drive hundreds of vehicles every year at Horsepower broadcasting and this new 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is definitely one of the finest we’ve experienced.
